System Components Used

The hot water system included:

14 units of 625W monocrystalline solar panels (Total: 8.75kWp)
3kW Submersible Pump Set (Vinco pump head and sub-motor).
Solar Pumping Inverter (Veikong) with combiner box
Drop pipe, airline piping, submersible and control cabling.
Earthing and lightning protection.
Borehole cover, non-return valve, water meter and float switch.
Piping from the pump discharge point to the underground tank.

What the Solar Pumping System Delivers

The system comfortably supports hot water for:

Daily water abstraction powered directly by sunlight, with no fuel or grid power needed
Automatic filling of the underground tank through the dedicated discharge piping.
Pump and system protection through the float switch, non-return valve and surge and lightning protection
Consumption monitoring through the installed water meter.

Project Summary

Victor wanted a complete, ready-to-run water solution rather than a collection of separate parts. We supplied and installed a 3kW submersible pump driven by a 14-panel, 8.75kWp solar array, and extended the piping to his underground tank so that water flows from the borehole to storage without any manual handling.

Overview

Our lead technician went to site first to prepare the ground, followed by the full installation team. Works ran from site preparation, through installation, cabling, protection and commissioning, to monitoring and handover. The panels were mounted for maximum daily yield, and the system was tested under load before handover to the client.
