In Turbo, Uasin Gishu County, our client Joab sought a reliable and dependable power solution for his rural home. Like many rural areas, the location experiences inconsistent grid power, frequent outages, and voltage instability, which negatively affect day-to-day living and the use of household appliances.
Joab approached ALKIM Green Galaxy Limited looking for a solar solution that would provide uninterrupted power, improve reliability, and reduce reliance on the grid. After conducting a load assessment and evaluating his household energy needs, we recommended and installed a 4.4kWp hybrid solar power system, designed to deliver stable power with battery backup for both daytime and night-time use.
The system comprises 8 high-efficiency 550W solar panels, a 6kW AC hybrid inverter, and a 5kWh lithium battery energy storage system, providing a well-balanced solution for a rural residential setup.
