Building on the successful installations completed at both his residence and his parents’ home, John once again entrusted ALKIM Green Galaxy Limited with another critical project, this time for his hotel located in Lodwar town. The facility required a stable, cost-effective and reliable power supply to ensure smooth hotel operations, uninterrupted guest comfort and predictable operating costs.
Given the region’s frequent power instability and high grid tariffs, John wanted the solar system to act as the primary power source, with KPLC serving only as a backup. This approach guarantees continuous operation of essential services such as refrigeration, lighting, kitchen equipment, guest room appliances and hotel administration systems.
To meet these operational demands, we installed an expandable 10kW hybrid solar system, similar to the one used in his residential properties, ensuring strong daytime power production and dependable nighttime support through battery storage.

What the Hotel Solar System Can Power
