Our client Jeff, the owner of several popular camping and outdoor retreat sites across Timau and Gilgil, required a reliable and efficient solar solution for his camp house located in Gilgil. Having previously installed a similar system for his Timau camp which proved extremely beneficial for both his operations and the high number of visitors he hosts Jeff wanted to replicate the same level of reliability and energy independence at his Gilgil facility.
The Gilgil camp house serves as both an operational base and a guest support point, making uninterrupted power essential for lighting, refrigeration, security systems, communication equipment and general comfort for visitors. To meet these needs, ALKIM Green Galaxy Limited supplied and installed a 6kW hybrid solar system supported by 10kWh of lithium battery storage, ensuring strong daytime generation and dependable backup during cloudy days and nights.
