In Mogotio, Baringo County, there are areas where KPLC grid power is non-existent. For a homeowner building a large modern mansion, relying on generators was noisy, expensive, and unsustainable. The client wanted a complete, permanent solution that would provide silent, clean, and reliable 24-hour electricity while eliminating the need for grid power forever. ALKIM Green Galaxy designed and installed a 7kWp off-grid solar system supported by a powerful hybrid inverter and high-capacity battery bank. To enhance home comfort, we also installed 2 pressurized 300-litre solar water heaters to supply uninterrupted hot water to the entire residence.

Project Summary
This project was designed to fully eliminate the need for KPLC electricity. With no grid power available in the area, the client needed a high-performance setup capable of powering an entire mansion smoothly, silently, and efficiently.
Our installation team mounted the high-efficiency solar panels for maximum sunlight exposure, installed the inverter system with smart load management, and connected a 15kWh lithium battery pack for round-the-clock energy supply.
To complete the home's comfort needs, we installed two 300-litre pressurized solar water heaters to provide hot water to bathrooms, kitchen, and the laundry area — all powered naturally by the sun.
