In Langata, Nairobi County, our client Mercy faced recurring power outages that disrupted her daily home activities and comfort. She needed a dependable and automated backup solution that could seamlessly take over whenever the grid failed.
To meet this need, we installed a 3kW lithium-powered portable power station paired with 2 x 550W solar panels. To ensure a smooth and automatic transition between the grid and backup, we integrated an Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS), allowing the system to switch over without manual input.

Solar Components Used in the 3kW Lithium-Powered Portable Power Station Project
This package included a 3kW rechargeable power station with inbuilt lithium battery, 2 units of 550W monocrystalline solar panels (1.1kWp total), Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) for seamless grid-to-backup switching, DC breakers and SPD for protection against surges and electrical faults, solar cables and mounting accessories.
